- Company achieves unqualified SOC 2 (SOC for Service Organizations: Trust Services Criteria) Type 2 examination report for its Flueid Decision solution.
- Securing this high standard of compliance less than a year following Flueid Decision’s production release reinforces Flueid’s culture of stringent information security across all levels of the organization.
AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Flueid, the leading independent technology company fueling digital real estate transactions, announced today the company completed and received an unqualified SOC 2 Type 2 report months after its product, Flueid Decision (formerly named Insurful) was released to market.
The robust examination of Flueid’s thorough security, availability and confidentiality controls under the SOC 2 Type 2 standard supports the company’s position as a trusted platform provider. Because of the hardened infrastructure architecture, Flueid expedited both its SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 examinations over the course of nine months – a milestone which takes many companies two to three years to achieve given its robust nature.
“We developed our product architecture with client data handling as the foundation, allowing us to go for SOC 2 Type 2 examination within a year of our platform’s market introduction,” said Flueid CIO and CISO Ryan Jaeger. “Security is core to our nature and our team – it’s part of our culture. Our rigorous information security policy ensures the privacy and regulatory compliance of all systems, including strict endpoint management, extensive employee security awareness training and comprehensive vulnerability management.”
The SOC 2 Type 2 examination was conducted by a top global accounting firm in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) standards relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality categories set forth in TSP section 100, 2017 Trust Services Criteria for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.
“In a world where security breaches make headlines, Flueid clients and customers have an added layer of confidence because the data controls are behind their firewalls, in their trusted environments, through Flueid Decision, and we conduct regular audits to help shoulder some of the stress of security and compliance,” Jaeger added.
Flueid achieved SOC 2 Type I compliance in March of this year. Customers and prospects under NDA can request the SOC 2 Type 2 examination report by contacting Vice President of Communications Liz Lilly at (737) 703-3578 or sending an email to Liz.Lilly@Flueid.com.
